In Honor of Melissa Gulledge |
The
purpose of our mission is to honor the life and work of a dear friend
and dedicated faculty member Melissa Gulledge, whose love, training and
concern for our children went far beyond the call of duty.
The opportunity before us is the ability to pay tribute to her by
continuing her passion for the little ones.

Some of her friends and colleagues organized a campaign to name some areas in honor of her service to our school system and to all children with special needs. We are proud to say that a room in her memory has been dedicated at new Hewitt-Trussville High School, and the state of the art special needs playground at Paine Primary School has been completed. Thanks to all that donated, including the PTO. .
| You may still donated to the schools and the special needs program in her honor. All donations can be sent to the Trussville City Schools Foundation. Checks need to have “Melissa Gulledge” or “Melissa’s Kids” in the memo line. The mailing address is: PO Box 1110, Trussville, AL 35173. Thank you for your support of the schools and the special needs program. |
